    The scope includes daylight metrics applicable to common workplace environments. This committee does not cover energy consumption.

    The scope includes standards for the transfer of spectral data and file formats for all light sources that interface with optical design and simulation software in lighting applications.

    The IES Lighting Application Advisory Panel oversees the technical standards committees under the Lighting Applications Group, including the following committees - Office, Retail, Educational Facilities, Library, Daylighting, Sports, Industrial, Roadway, Residential, Parking, Tunnels, Photobiology, Healthcare Facilities, Museums, Economics, Outdoor Environmental, Airports, VideoConference, and Port Terminals.
  • Lighting Practice Advisory Panel
    The IES Lighting Practice Advisory Panel oversees the technical standards committees under the Lighting Practice Group, including the following committees - Lighting Commissioning, Sustainable Lighting, Building Information Management (BIM), Resilient Lighting.

    The IES Lighting Science Advisory Panel oversees the technical standards committees under the Science Group- including the Testing Procedures Committee, TPC Sub-committee on Photometry of Light Sources, Photometry for Indoor Luminaires, Photometry for Outdoor Luminaires, and Solid State Lighting.
